Good Days Counselling

Hello, and a very warm welcome to Good Days Counselling, a professional online counselling service, accessible to anyone, anywhere, from the comfort of home.

If there were any 'silver linings' to the pandemic, it has to be the revolution in online service-provision. Before 2020, if you wanted counselling outside of the NHS, you had to find a suitable, local therapist and travel to and from sessions, costing extra time and money. Therapists now agree that working face to face online is just as effective as ‘in-person’ therapy, with the additional benefits of convenience and cost-saving.

Good Days Counselling provides sessions online via Zoom video calls, meaning anyone can access the service from anywhere! If you feel this could be useful to you, please contact me by emailing

I have been a qualified counsellor for over 20 years and I was a Specialist Counsellor within the NHS for 16 of them. I have significant experience of working with people with neurodiversity, such as ASC or ADHD, as well as people who have learning disabilities. I have worked with a wide range of individuals on a wide range of issues, and I have provided training and consultancy in the areas of depression, anxiety, bereavement, domestic abuse, trauma, emotions management and identity issues.

I offer an initial 30 minute session for £30. Further sessions start from £40 for 50 minutes. I am available between 9am and 5pm, Monday - Friday, but please do contact me if this doesn’t suit you, as I do have a degree of flexibility.

Counselling can help with all sorts of difficulties, but it is important to understand that there are no ‘magic words.’ Some useful things to consider are -

Do I really want counselling?

What is it that I hope counselling will achieve?

Why now?

Can I be honest and open about what things are really like for me?

Can I commit to a regular time (and expense)?

Do I accept that counselling might take a long while and might be difficult at times?

Do I have other people around me who can support me on this ‘journey?’

A better way to better days
